I took a beginning manners class with Sarah of Summit Dog Training and really enjoyed it! I have a 4.5 year old pittie who was terrified of the world when we rescued her. Sarah was wonderful at gauging how Scarlett was feeling throughout class (and during the greeting sections in particular) as Scarlett can be hesitant around new people. Sarah provides real life opportunities throughout class to practice the skills you've been working on and she breaks things down into manageable pieces. Looking forward to taking additional classes!

I recommend the private lessons, webinars and online courses. They are very informative and a great help in the continued journey of training and working with my dog!

I am so grateful to have been introduced to this team! The support I have received in person and thru webinars has given me a great foundation with my tricky little puppy. I know we have a lot to learn, but the depth of information offered is vast and I feel well resourced and supported. Cant wait to learn more:)

We just finished our second class with Sarah in addition to some private sessions over the summer. Sarah is incredible and we have learned so much from her! As new dog owners, Sarah gave us a great foundation to raise our pup! Thank you, Sarah!!

My dog, Dozier, was part of the Good Dog basics at the end of 2019-beginning of 2020. And everything that was taught, he still does today. We recently took holiday photos and I got so many compliments on how well behaved he was. And all I have to say is it’s all because of Summit Dog Training. It wouldn’t have been made possible if we didn’t have a good foundation. I can’t recommend them enough. If I was still in Northern Colorado, I would’ve definitely continued his education.

These people care and they are willing to go the extra mile to make sure you and your dog get the most out of the training. They care about you and your dog’s needs as individuals. They care about you as if you are family. I can’t say say enough about them. We have worked with Sarah and Melissa, who are both compassionate, knowledgeable, and incredibly gifted. We are looking forward to working with Beth and so appreciative of everyone in the Summit family for helping us in our journey with our furry additions to our family.

We finished our last training session this morning with Summit Dog Training! It was bitter sweet because I loved working with Beth and so did Herbie. She helped us gain more confidence on our walks and I will be forever grateful for the lessons. I highly recommend Summit to anyone who wants to better their dog in a nice,calm, and safe environment. I will definitely be back so I can continue to work on my Herbie’s reactivity and one day I’ll bring my Aussie so we can work towards her CGC certificate🤗

We have been working with Amber for over 6 months now. Our pups are both highly reactive, sensitive, and anxious. When we first started seeing Amber, our dogs were resource guarding, would bark out in the yard excessively, and would redirect their anxiety and frustration on one another. With tons of patience and support from Amber, our pups no longer redirect on one another, there is no more conflict around resources, and their reactivity is significantly lower and they calm down much quicker after triggers. Amber also helped us train and prepare our pups for a baby coming home so that everyone is set up for success. We are so grateful for her expertise and time! We will certainly continue to use Summit!
