Just finished a series of private lessons with Melissa! I seriously cannot recommend her and Summit Dog Training enough. I have a pretty shy and fearful puppy. The difference in her confidence from week one to now is amazing! I will definitely be signing up for future classes.

Great trainers! Willing to work with you personally or in group classes. I've had great experiences in both. They really seem to care about your dog and goals with your doggo.

Summit has been the greatest support system and team we could ask for. It is a breath of fresh air to be surrounded by trainers who are compassionate, patient and adaptable. Aspen started training with crippling separation anxiety and overall lack of confidence. I truly thought it would be impossible to be at the place in her training we are now. We did a few groups classes as well as private training and have seen such improvements. Sarah, Amber and the entire team are wise, equipped and driven to make training a comfortable experience. Aspen is now confident, relaxed, attentive to her cues, and so receptive to new training. It means so much that we are able to work on skills such as recall, stays, and reactions using positive reinforcement. We are lucky to have these resources as life long learners. Cannot recommend this enough for fellow rescue pup parents!

We brought our puppy to Summit for both a Puppy Basics class and a 6-week series of Adventure Camp. We just finished our "skills transfer" session - the final wrap up to Adventure Camp - and have to sing Summit's praises! Both experiences were great, but the knowledge and expertise of every instructor we worked with was truly outstanding. Shay and Melissa, who we spent the most time with, seemed to have an answer for everything - no matter the question or training goal, they had tools, tricks, options, and guidance to share, all backed by a positive training approach. I think we learned even more than our pup, and are so thankful we prioritized these foundational classes early on (started both classes right after the 4 month mark). Thank you Summit!

Our Golden Retriever puppy, Bella, has gotten the BEST training for good behavior after taking classes from Shay, Amber and Meredith at Summit Dog Training. They are amazingly skilled with getting to know your dog and what the dog is developmentally ready for. They have been a tremendous resource and have great videos and online information available for at home training. We are so excited to continue the classes with Summit Dog Training!

I highly recommend Summit Dog Training. Our family has trained with Amber for years now, and she is especially intuitive when it comes to reading dog behavior. She has a great understanding of small dogs and how to work with them – especially in a multi-dog family. We have done several privates with Amber and she has helped our daughter compete in both 4H and AKC dog events. Our Pomeranian, Truffle, just recently completed a level 2 recall and stay class, and we are excited to try one of Summit’s agility classes. We can’t say enough about how much she has helped our canine family!
