I cannot put into words how grateful we are to Angela for the skills she's taught us and the support we've received during (and in between) our individual lessons. She's helped us to expand our knowledge and understanding of Colt's needs as well as the confidence and tools to handle new and challenging situations. Our quality of life has significantly improved since beginning this journey, and we're looking forward to continuing to build our skills in group classes!

Summit Dog Training is amazing and HIGHLY recommend them, no matter where you're located. I live in Idaho so worked with Summit Dog Training 100% virtually. I know that sounds odd since training a dog is hands on, but it worked. In fact, their trainers were more professional, knowledgeable and specialized on unique dog behaviors than anyone I found locally. The reason I sought them out was because my pup is an extremely picky eater and it was causing negative behaviors that I couldn't figure out on my own. I couldn't find any dog trainer that would take the time to thoroughly understand my situation until I came across Summit Dog Training. How my virtual sessions worked was this: I would set up 1:1 sessions with a Trainer and we'd meet virtually on video. The trainer would follow up via email with AMPLE notes and instructions that I could easily follow on my own. Then, I would video my pup and I working so the Trainer could see the behaviors and add their feedback. Through all of this, I have become SO confident with my bag of tricks to improve my pup's picky eating. Summit Dog Training equipped me with the most amazing knowledge and I truly believe it's one of the leading reasons I'm finally getting a handle on the eating situation.

We've only had one lesson so far but already have some good ideas to use with our puppy. The instructor was so good at describing what to do and why. I learned a lot in one session.

Trainer Sarah S. provided private sessions with me and my dog Huey since January 2023 and was amazing. She was extremely patient and understanding about Huey's nervousness with strangers, and became friends with him after our first session. She was very accommodating and flexible too with scheduling sessions throughout the following months. I also greatly appreciated the resources and reviews of Huey's progress each week.

Angela is a highly professional and knowledgeable instructor! Worth the investment for the private program for our new rescue adoption.

Melissa is amazing! She was so good with my high-energy dog, and was able to provide really good direction for working with him. One suggestion for the outdoor course is to keep the fowl contained. They are an unneeded distraction for my young pray-driven dog and made working and focus extremely difficult.

Nice team of people, good location. I took the Nice to Meet You Class but felt it needed more space & at least one more trainer. But it was fun, I learned a little & I’ll try other classes.

I'm a first time dog owner and Shay, Mer, and Sarah have been a big help in guiding me through the process of training a dog well. The Puppy Camp that Shay and Mer run is incredible and they do a great job showing us how to transfer the skills they have taught/practiced there to when our pup is with us. I'm looking forward to learning more from the trainers at Summit during level 1 and 2 classes.
