have found the counsellor's feedback, analysis of situations, naming of situations helpful, on point, acknowledging, and supportive. I needed someone to talk through an intense grieving situation, about where my son is, ended up. I am saying things to her I need to be saying to my son but that would not help, so I'm checking out my own thinking and responding
